Terms of Service

By installing or using the Leadgrabr browser extension, or by purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

Leadgrabr is a Chrome browser extension that adds bulk-messaging and lead-management tools to WhatsApp Web. The extension runs locally in your browser. A small backend service (operated on Cloudflare Workers) verifies paid plans and processes payment webhooks from Razorpay.

Leadgrabr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. "WhatsApp" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

2. Your account & license

Your "account" is identified by the WhatsApp phone number signed into your browser. You do not create a username or password; the phone number is the account.

When you purchase a paid plan, the license is associated with the phone number you provide at checkout. To use the paid features, you must be signed into WhatsApp Web with that same phone number.

If you change your WhatsApp phone number, contact us at akshay.kini@leadgrabr.com from a verifiable address and we will transfer the license. We will not transfer licenses without proof of ownership.

3. Payment & subscriptions

We offer the following plans:

• Free — ₹0, perpetual, with usage limits described on our pricing page.
• Growth — ₹999/month, recurring monthly. Up to 3 team members.
• Business — ₹1,999/month, recurring monthly. Up to 9 team members.
• Lifetime — ₹4,999, one-time. Single number, no team.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.

Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellations can be made via your Razorpay confirmation email or by contacting us.

"Lifetime" means for the operational lifetime of the Leadgrabr service. We commit to maintaining the service for at least three years from your date of purchase. Beyond that, the service depends on continued operation; see Section 7.

4. WhatsApp's Terms of Service

Sending bulk messages through WhatsApp Web — whether using Leadgrabr or any similar tool — may violate WhatsApp's Terms of Service, particularly the prohibitions against "bulk messaging" and "automated messages." WhatsApp may, at its sole discretion, restrict or terminate accounts that engage in such activity.

Leadgrabr provides features designed to make sending look more human-like, including randomised delays, pacing breaks, daily limits, and a warm-up schedule for new installations. These features reduce the probability of WhatsApp taking action against your account, but they do not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for your own use of WhatsApp and for compliance with WhatsApp's terms.
• Any restriction, suspension, or termination of your WhatsApp account by WhatsApp or Meta is outside our control and is not a defect or failure of Leadgrabr.
• We do not offer refunds for WhatsApp account actions taken against you (see Refund Policy).

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Leadgrabr only to message people who have consented to receive your messages — for example, customers who have opted in via a form, leads who have requested information, or your existing contacts. Specifically, we expect you to:

• Personalise messages with the {name} token or other variation.
• Use a phone number that has been actively used for legitimate communication for at least 14 days before bulk-sending.
• Honour opt-out requests promptly and stop messaging anyone who asks you to.
• Comply with all applicable laws including consumer protection, data protection, and anti-spam regulations in your jurisdiction.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to use Leadgrabr to:

• Send unsolicited messages to people who have not consented to receive them ("cold spam"), including to numbers obtained by scraping, purchase from list vendors, or other non-consensual means.
• Send fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful content.
• Impersonate any person, business, or government agency.
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or links to harmful content.
• Promote illegal goods or services in your jurisdiction.
• Send sexually explicit content to recipients who have not opted in.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the extension beyond what is permitted by the open-source licenses of its dependencies.
• Resell, white-label, or redistribute Leadgrabr without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your license without refund if we determine you have engaged in prohibited use.

7. Availability & changes to the service

We aim to keep Leadgrabr available continuously but do not guarantee any specific uptime. Maintenance, third-party outages (Cloudflare, Supabase, Razorpay, WhatsApp Web changes), or our own deliberate changes may cause interruptions.

WhatsApp Web is updated regularly by Meta. Sometimes those updates break parts of Leadgrabr. We will issue updates as quickly as possible to restore functionality.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We will not, however, remove a paid feature you are currently using without offering a comparable alternative or a pro-rata refund.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leadgrabr's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹4,999, whichever is less.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of WhatsApp account access; loss of leads, sales, or business opportunities; loss of data; or reputational harm — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. No warranty

Leadgrabr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with all WhatsApp Web versions.

10. Termination

You may stop using Leadgrabr at any time by uninstalling the extension. For monthly subscriptions, you must also cancel through Razorpay or by contacting us to stop further charges.

We may terminate your license, with or without notice, if you breach these terms — particularly the prohibited-use clause. In cases of clear-cut prohibited use (spam, fraud, harassment), we will not refund unused subscription time.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Leadgrabr shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
